How To Become a Firefighter: What I’ve Learned

     Or Blogs have become the new newspaper. Only a few decades ago people used print media, mainly newspapers, to get most of their information. Whether it be Hollywood gossip or how to improve their life, it was all there between the creases. After looking at several blogs it was pretty clear that people have used technology to enhance their writing topics and thus, more and more people are drawn to online platforms to get their information.      One blog I recently read about fashion called  TheBlondeSalad  was basically click bait. I believe this is so the authors intended audience, who I’m assuming is only on the blog in the first place because they’re bored, will be enticed by flashy pictures of celebrities and catchy one liners to stay on the blog. Hey it’s Isaiah here, thanks for stopping by to find out a little more about me. I am a Firefighter Paramedic with specialties in Technical Rope Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue and Helicopter Rescues. I am certified in Wildland Firefighting as well and have the opportunity to travel all across the country fighting wildland fires. I prefer structural firefighting though so I rarely volunteer for deployments in the wildland arena. I have a ton of interests, but I’m limited by time and money, who isn’t right? I have been around the car racing scene for several years working on a Fire/Safety team. I started with NASCAR. Networking at the track lead me to a Fire/Safety team that has a contract with Redbull to do their Global Rallycross Circuit . That was by far my favorite job, other than what I do now.
